From WordPress Dashboard

1. Navigate to Plugins -> Add New from your WordPress dashboard.
2. Search for Widget Categories Order Fix for WooCommerce and install it.
3. Activate the plugin from the Plugins menu.

Manual Installation

1. Download the plugin file: widget-categories-order-fix-for-woocommerce.zip.
2. Unzip the file.
3. Upload the widget-categories-order-fix-for-woocommerce folder to your /wp-content/plugins directory (do not rename the folder).
4. Activate the plugin from the Plugins menu.

It will start doing it’s job. That’s all, folks!

If an WooCommerce shop does not sort and display the categories in the widget correctly according to their position set in the administration panel this plugin may help.

IMPORTANT:
1. Before installing this plugin please check if in your Product Categories Widget (in Appearance->Widgets) under the Order by dropdown is selected Category order. If not, select it, save the widget and check your shop again.
2. If 1. does not work for you and your categories in the categories widget are still not sorted correctly, then install this plugin and try to fix the issue with it.
